STEPHANIE (HILL) GAINEY, CPA

MANAGING MEMBER

Stephanie loves living in this area and has 27 years assisting both businesses and individuals with their taxation and accounting needs.

She has 27 years of accounting experience in both private industry and public accounting with the majority of her time in public accounting.  She concentrates primarily in the areas of taxation and business accounting. Her experience includes all aspects of personal and business tax, accounting, and business consulting.  She enjoys partnering closely with her clients to assist them with tax planning, compliance requirements and supporting all their accounting needs.

Stephanie has lived in the area since 1988 and enjoys being out in the community with her sons.

AMY COLEMAN

MANAGING MEMBER

Amy Coleman is an Accountant with eighteen years’ experience in private industry and public accounting in Alabama, Florida and Louisiana.

She has a passion for small business and the entrepreneurial spirit of this area.  She considers the most important aspect of her work to be providing timely and accurate information to assist business owners and individuals in making sound business and financial decisions.

Amy has frequented Walton County throughout her life while growing up in Alabama, and made it her permanent home in 2009 with her husband and two young children.  She is active with several local non-profit organizations as well as her church.  She enjoys yoga, football, fishing and gardening, as well as traveling with her family and friends.

JR ACCOUNTANT

Kira graduated with honors from Pensacola State College with the degree of Associate in Applied Science Accounting Technology with 3.96 GPA.

With nearly a decade of experience in public accounting, Kira has been a cornerstone at Hill Coleman CPA since its inception, dedicating her talents to supporting small and medium-sized enterprises. Her focus is primarily on monthly bookkeeping, payroll, and sales tax, alongside assisting CPAs with the preparation of financial statements and annual income tax returns.

Originally from Ukraine, Kira has had a unique journey, living in Florida for ten years where she loved the sugar-white beaches of Emerald Coast. However, the strong pull of family ties led her back to Ukraine in 2017. Due to the onset of war, she found herself relocating once again in 2022 and has since been living and working remotely from Belgium.

Kira is a devoted mother to two young children, a boy and a girl, and treasures the moments spent exploring the outdoors with them, whether it’s a leisurely stroll in the park or a joyful bike ride during Belgium’s fine weather weekends. An avid learner and traveler, Kira is always on the quest for new knowledge and experiences, with the spirit of adventure and continuous growth both personally and professionally.

JULIE BELCHER

Julie has 28 years of accounting and bookkeeping experience in private industry and public accounting in Alabama, Georgia and Florida, the last 12 years of which have been dedicated to CPA firms in Georgia and Florida.

Her expertise is not just limited to managing accounts but also in empowering her clients. Julie is passionate about ensuring accuracy in every ledger and takes great satisfaction in teaching her clients how to use accounting software to keep their records up to date so they can get the information they need to run a successful business. Julie’s proficiency spans an array of industries, including retail, construction, and nonprofit organizations. 

Julie’s connection to South Walton runs deep, transitioning from a cherished vacation spot to her chosen home in 2015. Julie enjoys the beach, beautiful sunsets, reading, football and going out with friends and family.

HELEN ALFORD

OFFICE MANAGER

Helen Alford brought her extensive background and expertise to the firm in January 2022, assuming the role of part-time office manager

Her academic achievements include a Bachelor of Science degree earned in 1980 from the University of New Orleans, followed by a Juris Doctor degree from Tulane University School of Law in 1982. With a legal career that spanned over three decades, Helen practiced law in Mobile, Alabama, from 1982 until her retirement in 2016, during which she was licensed to practice in Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Texas. 

Choosing to retire to Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, Helen sought proximity to family, a testament to her values and priorities. Her life in retirement is active and community-oriented, with her involvement in the Point Washington United Methodist Church and cherished moments spent with her daughter, son-in-law, and three grandchildren. Helen’s hobbies include reading, quilting, sewing, and crochet.

TORI LOVELESS

Tori went to Mercer University on a full scholarship and graduated with a B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. 

Tori has prior bookkeeping experience in the restaurant and construction industries and has enjoyed the opportunity to grow her knowledge base in public accounting. She sees every day as an opportunity to learn something new. 

Tori spent summers and holidays in the area visiting her grandmother growing up before finally settling here with her family in 2015. She is passionate about health and fitness, and she works with a local group to teach self-defense and shooting classes in her spare time. She also speaks Spanish and volunteers as an interpreter at the Point Washington Medical Clinic.

LINDSEY ZILLER

Lindsey Ziller has public accounting experience assisting both businesses and individuals with their taxation and accounting needs. 

She graduated from the University of Mississippi in 2019 and has spent the last few years providing clients with tax preparation, bookkeeping needs, and payroll assistance. She enjoys working with clients in all tax and accounting aspects. Her goal is to help individuals and businesses succeed while educating them on tax benefits and planning for the future.  

Lindsey moved to Florida in April 2023 from Meridian, MS. She fell in love with the area the first time visiting and knew she could call this place home. When she is not working, she enjoys shopping, traveling, gathering with friends and family, and of course spending time on the beach soaking up the Florida sunshine. She is excited for the start of her new journey.
